Graduate of the London School of Economics (LSE), 2005 and awarded a PhD in History by Princeton University (New Jersey, United States) in 2013 for a thesis on the decolonisation of Sudan, Alden Young is an assistant professor in African History at Drexel University (Philadelphia, United States) and director of the “Africana Studies” programme.
